Blown Tire
Looks like the nail from a few weeks ago ruined the fibers of my bike tire I have a cheap blue (ugly) replacement but want to install Schwable big apples which have excelent durability and are also known as good for their shock absorbancy.

Burned Zaurus II
I have fried another Zaurus due to my hacky power source designs. From now on I will be installing a 5v regulator chip in my power supply projects. The crank charger/LED flashlight I used provided about 8volts which blew the internal Zaurus charge regulator but worked fine with my Nokia 6100 I think I will just install the regulator into the Z charge cable and leave the Nokia cable alone.
A new Z should be here in a few weeks, I hope it works as the seller was unable to charge it.

Washed I-stick
My 128meg I-Stick super thin USB drive was washed to death last week, we ordered a sandisk Ultra2 SD/USB drive so now I will have a easy interface for both desktop machines as well as my Zaurus I will put Damn Small Linux onto it once it arrives so I can boot most modern machines to my own Linux desktop.

Ethernet for Z
Purchased a CF ethernet card for my Zaurus on ebay I can access wired networks where there is no wireless.

After about 5 years both my wireless AP WAP11 and my router SMC7004ABR are getting gronky, I hope to get the Netgear wireless storage router which runs linux has 4 ports and a usb port, there are plenty of good OpenWRT hacks for it.  ¶ 3:27 AM
