Yurts, Electrical cars, bikes, and avoiding bank loans

One problem with a free lifestyle is avoiding debt. Large modern housing, extended education, and the automibile are all standouts in history. They both require bank loans to afford their purchase enslaving their owners to a life of full time non-stop work to afford the payoff of principal and interest.

The yurt (central aisian semi-perminant hard framed tent structure) which can be bought for between $4-9K work well in a High desert like Israel. A larger home can be built over several years while the your is your primary residence.
An electrical car built from aluminum tubing and bicycle and motorcycle parts would provide wonderful transportation for a family. Electrical power can be used for short hops or when urban charging stations are available. A gas motor may not be part of the drivetrain but would generate power to charge batteries or direct drive the electrical propulsion. In a low power use home the car could transport electricity from urban charging stations to battery banks in the home. A wooden pallet full of batteries could power a home from solar in the summer topped off by your car. The bicycle and a trailer can do most of the work saving fuel and power for longer car trips.
The bank loan system for homes cars appliances and even credit cards leads to a gentle enslavement of most of the western population. I do not belive in lazyness or sloth but to have no option but to franticly search for work after unemployment is a serious problem especialy in our downward sliding economy.
Better attention to sharing and charity as well as obeying the command to loan to our brothers without interest rather than seeking bank loans would improve live for everyone.
